The Wizards were shutout of the top overall pick and even out of the top-four, moving down to the fifth slot.

"There are a lot of great players in this draft. We're in a good spot to get a good player or to possibly use that player in a trade," Ernie Grunfeld said in a telephone interview. "We feel comfortable with the fifth pick, but we are going to explore our options to see what can make us the best possible team next year. But we feel, if we have all of our pieces out there, it would be hard for any young player to come in and break into the lineup -- even if it was the first pick."

At 5, you're looking at Harden, Derozen, Hill, maybe Jennings. Any interest?

I'd only do it if we could trade up to three with the Thunder, with 5 going to the Thunder (so they can take Jordan Hill), and then we get Thabeet at #3.

A guy like Thabeet is just what the doctor ordered. He would improve our interior defense tenfold.

I rather not have another offensive challenged center. Thabett from what I've heard is going to Grizzles though

I was just looking at this on ESPN, Hollinger says that Washington wants no more money added to the payrole especially one at that area. He said maybe they would be willing to trade it like they did to Dallas a few years back for antwan Jamison. He said they could talk to the Thunder or sacramento for etan thomas contract and there pick in the twenties, Now this sounds appeling. the link is right here.
