Who is the absolute worst?
I can't fathom anybody being worse then Krenzel or Quinn at the QB position.
Your question intrigued me Rush, so I started Googling. (That sounds dirty!)
Krenzel was bad but, thanks to a really good defense, he was actually 3-2 as a starter. 3 TD passes, 6 ints 3.7 net yards per attempt, sacked 23 times and a passer rating of 52.5. That's really bad, but there were worse.
This calls for a list!
Here are my picks for the 5 worst Bears quarterbacks ever:
(DIShonorable mention) Steve Stenstrom - Played in 11 games in '96-'98. Went 1-6 as starter in '98. 4 TD passes, 8 ints. Sacked 22 times. 5.1 net yds / attempt. Passer rating 67.1
5) Rick Mirer - played in 7 games, starting 3. 0-3 as starter in '97. 0 td passes, 6 ints, 16 sacks. 2.8 net yds per attempt. Passer rating - 37.7.
4) Henry Burris - Played in 6 games in 2002 losing his only start. 3 TD passes, 5 ints. 4.1 net yds/attempt. He was never sacked but had a passer rating of 28.4.
3) Jonathan Quinn - Played in 5 games and went 0-3 in his starts. Only threw 1 TD pass and 3 ints. Was sacked 15 times and had a 2.7 net yds/attempt Passer rating 53.7
2) Peter Tom Willis - Went 0-3 starting two games in '92 and one in 93. Threw 4 TD passes and 13 ints. Sacked 15 times. Passer rating - 34
1) Rusty Lish - Played in 7 games for the Bears in 1984 starting once in game 15. His performance was so bad that Ditka had to sign Greg Landry to play the last game (which the Bears won). He threw 6 interceptions and 0 TD passes and was sacked 13 times. Net yards / attempt - 3.3. Passer rating with Bears - 35.1
