What are the Sports Moments in Chicago and Nationally that were downers for you all in 2014?

Bulls - Anyone seen Derrick's jersey???
NBA - The end of Stern as commish
Hawks - Getting bounced in the playoffs
Bears - Everyone buy Forte
NFL - Conduct scandal and lack of discipline by the NFL
Cubs - Another throw away season
Sox - Massive injuries and Robin as a coach

What are yours?

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Bulls
NBA: Seeing the most hyped draft ever partially bust and riddled with season ending injuries.
NFL: Disco is no longer the most dominant broken record in the Bears fanbase.
MLB: Stopped paying attention 6 years ago.

Yeah, I think you could make a case that he's the heart of the NBA.
Nah, to me he had overstayed his welcome. Him leaving was the greatest thing for the NBA. Its time for a new era. Stern did many great things in the 80's and 90's and did enough to keep enough interest after Jordan left, but he should have left about 5 years ago.

Time will tell, but The NBA reached it's greatness because in large part to what Stern did. I credit the influx of inexperienced talent the past five years as the reason the NBA is slumping.

Stern is kinda like Krause...lots of good happened under him, but he was hated by the end of his tenure. Stern was probably a bit better than Krause at the end, but you know what I mean.

Also much like Krause, you can attribute much of his success to MJ (and/or insert other superstar name here) if you wanted to.

Back to the Worst....

Chicago Cubs renovate WF. Personally think there was way more value moving them to Arlington or Rosemont
