Would Guerin fit well with the Hawks?

Pittsburgh announced today that they will not resign Bill Guerin....assuming he would sign for cheap, would he fit well with the Hawks/do you want him on the Hawks?

He made 2 mil last year.

If he would sign for 1-1.25 mil I would do it in a heartbeat

If they could get him cheap enough I'd love to have him. He'd be a perfect linemate towards the bottom for the younger guys like Bicks, Stahlberg, and Skille.

I think anything into seven figures would prove to be too much.

1. Even 700k is too much for our cap situation this year.

2. Guerin has had a long successful career but his skills have significantly declined the last couple years. Also he was lining with the best center in the NHL, his numbers would decline playing on our 2nd or 3rd line.

3. His speed and skill set do not fit our puck possession game.
