Kosuke Fukudome for Nyjer Morgan? I don't think this will happen but just a thought. I think the Nats could be getting sick of Morgan because of his antics in recent weeks. The Nats have had interest in Kosuke since he came to the majors. Morgan has speed, can hit 1B and STEAL. Morgan is way cheaper and if the Cubs pay half of Kosuke's contract, I think it could happen. Also, the Nats add a spect because Kosuke will still do better.

Morgan can be the 4th OF or platoon with Colvin in RF.

OR

The Cubs trade Kosuke for Morgan and then ship him off to another team for spect(s).

So, Morgan and a spect for Fukudome?

Would you do it?

I got the idea from this: Twitter / Paul Sullivan: Jim Hendry can't afford to ...

I probably would, just because we get out from half of Fuku's contract.

Morgan has shown he can play well, and at worst is a pinch runner 4th OF, plus he is quite good at defense in the OF.

Yeah I would do it, because it opens up about 7 million dollars.
