i know on it's face it sounds Special person.

but think about it. Curry has a decent post up game. he's absolutely terrible. he doesnt rebound, and he has zero athleticism. BUT he's a big body, he can score kinda in the low post, he wont play more than 10 minutes a night, an he can give you some offense off the bench.

with that said, would you sign him to a NON-guaranteed contract for min next year?

he's absolutely terrible.

all that needed to be said, right there^.

All it takes is 5 minutes for him to completely screw up the game for his team.

I witnessed it (NYK@CHI last season - NYK was draining three after three until Eddy Curry came in for 7 minutes during the 2nd quarter. It might have been the only game he ever helped the Bulls win.)

I'd take Eddy Curry for the minimum. I don't think he's a particularly good player, but there are times where you need a big body, and he allows you to exploit some matchups if teams go ridiculously small on you.

We have help defense oriented big men who could play next to him to help cover his weaknesses, and at the vet minimum you aren't counting on him playing significant minutes.

It's sort of irrelevant though, Eddy Curry isn't a FA, isn't available for the minimum, and isn't coming to the Chicago bulls this season.

And......jesus wept!

I'd sign him and put him in front of a firing squad because that's about all he's good for!
