Would you want Van Gundy in Chicago?

Jeff Van Gundy wouldn't say if he's interested in coaching the Chicago Bulls, but he said the team handled the Vinny Del Negro situation poorly - ESPN Chicago

Saw this article and he said he doesn't really comment on open positions but what would you think about Van Gundy in Chicago?

He has some good ideas, I'd look at him. Like he believes late in the game, when the other team is going to shoot 3, have your defenders at the 3 point line, and not run there with them. He's like just in football, when the offense is going for a hail mary, you defend the end zone, not the line of scrimmage. The 3 point line is the target, not a 2.

Exactly how many times does this situation arise in a basketball game? If the Bulls are up by 2 w/10 seconds left in the game 82 times a year, Van Gundy's the man for the job!

Lol it's Stan Van Gundy, and I'd take him before Jeff in a heart beat.

I'd take Jeff in a heartbeat. Those knick teams weren't really all that good and he got the best out of them. The one worry is if he can coach a little more uptempo.
