Laimbeer actually makes a good point about Rose getting others involved more consistently. He probably saw a lot of game tape and noticed it. It was very evident in the last game that the guy who dominated the ball needed to move the ball around...hell, Rose said it himself.
He is very capable...no doubt about that. And I think Laimbeer knows Rose is a pg who can one day be one of the greatest ever at the position.

I think the Pistons are whining about the whole "bad boy" thing...an image they once embraced they now try to run from. Too late...and yes, Laimbeer was dirty, don't just ask the Bulls, ask the Celtics...

To be fair, I did hear Colin last year say he would take Rose 5th if he was starting his team(behind LBJ, Kobe, Durant and Pau -- I kind of laughed at Pau)...which is great strides for him...He said at the beginning of the season he'd take Rondo over Rose every single time b/c Rondo knew how to get his teammates the ball, and he didn't like a "score-first" pg...Then Rose decided to be in the top 10 of the league in assists...D-Rose has actually improved his assists by nearly 2/game while improving his scoring by over 4/game since last season....pretty damn impressive.

Look at it this way. There's a tide pushing in one direction and that's the Rose for MVP tide. There has to be some resistance to the tide, and those are the doubters.

All of this tells me that it is even more likely that Rose will get the award.

Rondo has 3 future hall of famers in Pierce, Allen and Garnett to pass the ball the to. He accepted his role and mastered it.
Rose has to take over sometimes because of lack of talent his first two years and this year the injury bug bit all the Bulls big men. The assists went up because the Bulls actually have a low post presence in Boozer.
