ND is horrible.
For those few diehards that still play and appreciate watching world class poker it's time again for the World Series in L.V. .

For the last few yrs now they've offered almost nightly netcasts of final tables of prominent tournaments and it's a GREAT educational opportunity for those who want to improve their tournament play or are just curious as to how top players play.

Most of the FT's shown will be NLH, but they should get some mixed games in there as well if you want to learn more about Stud games, Omaha and draw games.

The Colossus has begun and apparently turnout has been unreal and probably upwards of 20000 players at the lower buy in level (565 dollars). Someone is going to turn under 600 bucks into a mirrion....wow.

Here is the link for those who are interested; currently the FT of the 5k opening even is playing featuring top players Greg Merson (WSOP ME champ) and Brynn Kenny:

Lol, well considering the game was likely headed to being in almost no casinos outside Ca. and possibly a few Stud games, 1/2 big mixed games and possibly a midstakes Omaha game in NJ, I think it's been a new positive.

There are surely so downsides to poker on TV though, one of which is the predominance of NLH as a cash game which is pretty much the worst phenomena imaginable for the poker economy. Most of the true casual players lose their money so quickly now they are turned off to cash games within 6, 12 or 18 mos.
