WTF: New Jimi Hendrix movie without Jimi Hendrix music?!

So I just heard about a new Jimi Hendrix biopic that's releasing this week. Only problem is that the Hendrix estate didn't allow use of any of his music in the movie. The only Hendrix music they're allowed to use is the Star Spangled Banner that he played at Woodstock, since it's public domain. Uh, wouldn't that be kind of a deal breaker?
