I'm not the biggest fan of Kansas players (although I must say I like Paul Pierce), but this current Kansas team has two players (well three players) that I really like. Sherron Collins, Xavier Henry, and Cole Aldrich.

We would probably be able to get Sherron Collins late first round, early second round. He wouldn't be the guy that I would want them to take with their main pick, but if they bought a pick to take him, I would be happy, as I think he could be a solid backup point guard in the NBA.

Cole Aldrich is another guy I really like. He is just so long and plays great defense. He will be a very good defensive player for years to come in the NBA. His stats have been down largely across the board, but if you watch a lot of college, you will see guys just blatantly fouling the big guy (in addition to no defensive three second in college, and the smaller court, closer three point line), and all of that stuff won't be there in the pros, and it will be a much more spaced out game.

But unless we move up in the lottery, we probably won't be picking Aldrich, and I think you have to be looking at guys like John Wall, Evan Turner, and Demarcus Cousins if you move up.

But one guy who might be available in the range we will be picking in is Xavier Henry. He could go around pick 10 or so, but if we're picking 15 or 16, I think we could arrange some type of a trade with a team around 10, 11, 12 who doesn't want him, but whose guy will be available a little bit later in the draft. (And John Paxson has done a good job doing this in the past).

He has a nice NBA shooting guard body at 6'6" 210 lb, and the guy can shoot the ball pretty well. The guy has a beautiful, quick release that will allow him to get his shot off with just a little bit of space.

If we get Henry and work on integrating him in at the shooting guard spot right away, splitting time with Hinrich, we could use all our free agent money to help shore up the front court.

The problem is we're currently picking 18th, and the way the Bucks are playing, I can't see it getting any better. They might even catch Portland and push us to 19th.

I rather have James Anderson

+1 Mainly because he is supposed to be a better long range shooter which we need desperately.

Okay guys help me out...is that draft pick protected in case it is a top 11 pick or not? I heard KC Johnson say something along that line...

It's top 10 protected. Since we're not going to end up with a worse record than the Clippers, if we don't make the playoffs we'll finish with the 11th pick. The only we we don't end up swapping with the Bucks is if we move into the lottery (3% chance from 11th) or pass them (virtually no chance).

I like Henry but I don't think he'll be available for the Bulls. The good thing about this draft is that Henry is not the only shooter in the draft. I think James Anderson and Klay Thompson will be the same type of spot up three point shooter as Henry. But I don't think any of the three will do a lot putting the ball on the floor.

Anderson pretty decent at it. He's also a real good ball handler

Nah, James Anderson can't handle the basketball, and it's going to get even worst when he comes to the league. He'll just be a guy that spots up and spaces the floor. Which is something the Bulls could definitely use.

Bulls are probably stiffing the Forward from Nevada, assuming we don't get top 10. But you never know, Orlando proved that in 94 or 93.

I'm still confused as to why we let the Bucks have the option to swap picks with us when they already got a better player in Salmons. But I guess in the lottery range you're going to get more or less the same type of contribution barring choosing a bust or the next Tony Parker. :p

The Bucks took on an extra year of salary in the deal (or at least the risk that they would if Salmons doesn't opt out). The pick swap is the price for dumping salary.
