Xbox Live issue

I haven't been on in awhile but I went to sign in but I need my Windows Live ID or whatever it's called.

It's on an email address that no longer exists & a password I can't remember. I've tried all day but nothing.

Not sure what else I can do.

disconnect from internet

sign into your gamertag offline (go to acct settings) your email addy should be there.

If that does not work try a new email address and use that

you may be able to bypass it like I did. hit B when it asks, it will kick you to dashboard (not signed in) and than hit the xbox button on your controller and select your name and sign in.
