Eh, since when is Yahoo sports considered a credible sports site anyway?
Wojnarowski and Spears are pretty damn good in my opinion...
Exactly. Yahoo sports is the joke of sports media, by far. Only good for rumors.
Thongs strikes gold again, who gives a crap?
Wojnarowski and Spears are pretty damn good in my opinion...
If you avoid Chris Chase and Kelly Dwyer, Yahoo isn't bad at all. Chase has to be Special person, there is no other explanation, and Yahoo is an equal opportunity employer, so there you have it.
Yahoo is california based and they justify their bias because ESPN does the same thing in the north east. Yahoo is constantly trolling other regions and often tries to present Kobe in the most favorable light possible. They'll be someone you see that typically tries to boil Kobe and Jordan comparisons down to ring counts.
Yahoo, is catering to the mouthbreathing Laker fans that they (for the most part) are around every day, which, again, is what ESPN does when shoving NY and Boston teams down everyone's throats.
One of the big reasons why I like to get my sports info from the local Chicago outlets.
Yeah, a lot of people would look down their noses at that as being homeistic but its really no different than Yahoo or ESPN being regional outlets except ESPN and Yahoo are pretending to be national outlets.
Definitely. My outlook is this: I have no problem with homerism if they're homers for my teams. Haha
Well, Dwyer is pretty good, I like his positional rankings he has been doing over the last few years, the other guy I haven't paid much attention to.
Guys I like?
Simmons, Wojnarowski, Rosen, Spears...of course KC Johnson is great and Heisler is very good also. Most of the ESPN guys, Broussard, Bucher, Stein are okay...the stat boys over there...I have a problem with them because they seem to have an agenda, which I discussed earlier, Hollinger especially...
Nobody asked, but there's my two cents...lol
ESPN used to be good but then it de-evolved into this heavy handed network with a local sports talk radio influence. SC used to be anchored by guys who had some journalistic chops and not guys with self-promoting craptacular catch phrases.
And whats bad now is that ESPN is now in both the NE and in LA. So, when you watch the late SCs its really a case of idiocracy, where the pinnacle of accomplishment in life is making a bunch of babies, buying Kobe jerseys and driving on freeways.
