What are you dropping that's more than 2 gig....

Working with video will quickly eat up space (especially non-compressed).

1 hour of HD footage is about 16GB.

I was color correcting footage last night, and had to break it up in sections just to upload the 4 minutes I had. That was nearly 1GB.

All of my software is "free"....



I haven't used Windows in five years - I'm currently using the Linux Ubuntu operating system.



My Office Suite is OpenOffice...

My media player is VLC and Movie Player... for music I use Rhythymbox or Banshee...

My paint program is The Gimp... and for vector graphics I used Inkscape

For burning CD's or DVD's I used K3b or Brasero...

For recording my music I use Audacity...

Plus lots of other great programs
