This guy is clearly trying to burn bridges in Phoenix and get the hell out of there. Phoenix is losing him for nothing (or very poor compensation) if they don't trade him this summer or at the trade deadline.

CHICAGO - Here in Chicago waiting for the next wave of potential first-rounders to fill into The Westin for the final media availability..

Back in New York, ESPN Radio's Brandon Tierney had Amare Stoudemire on this morning and reiterated remarks about his desire to play for Mike D'Antoni in 2010 while boasting about being better than Chris Bosh. Stoudemire told The Post similar stuff during All-Star Weekend.

When Tierney asked Stoudemire if he's better than Bosh, the Suns forward said, "Oooh man, are you kidding me? Ask Chris Bosh that question."

So that's a yes?

"No doubt about it, I'm better than Chris Bosh"

"How serious will you consider the Knicks New York Knicks in 2010"?

"I will be totally serious about that, I spent a lot of my childhood there, I have a connection with the state, and I also love the entire coaching staff"

" I think Coach D'Antoni's doing a phenomenal job with the Knicks, NY's a great city, I follow them closely."

I love the confidence in that kid. Indeed he is better than Bosh, however I dont like the NY talk lol. I would kill for him to be in Chicago and I am pretty sure Kerr would like to make sure if he gets dealt its to a solid team that will lock him up so he wont go play for Mike.

When he talked to the Chicago media, he was pro-Chicago. When he talks to the New York media, he was pro-New York.

The only difference is that Jillian didn't push as much as this radio host.

He hates Amare as they had pretty bad fallout. Im just saying its not going to be his first choice, but if he has to will settle for him.

Can't be anywhere near as bad as the Kobe / Phil Jackson fallout.
