Not for taking my girlfriend to Vancouver for a little four day getaway from the Texas heat, but for wearing our Blackhawks sweaters around town on Saturday. People said some shitty stuff as you can imagine. We returned fire. We almost went to the Edmonton / Vancouver game to root for the Oilers but I didn't want those douches getting any of my money.

Oh and Dan Hamhius was signing autographs in the cannucks store so I paid a chick 20 bucks for her pass and got my picture taken with him. Told him he's the only Cannuck I don't hate... He said thanks. Don't know how to post it...

Anyway I'm two drinks into my pregame hype up festival and my typing is about to go way south.

Can not wait to hear Jim tomorrow and can't wait to best that Dallas ass tonight.

To be completely honest with you, and it pains me to say it, Vancouver was a kickass town. Now, it's no Chicago, don't get me wrong, but what we thought would just be decent weather compared to Texas turned out to be a really cool town. Given my druthers I'd go to Chicago 99 times out of 100 over Vancouver, but I've been to Chicago 99 times and hadn't ever been to Vancouver.

Ironically a lead article in the paper the last day we were there was about riot control and I laughed my monkey ass off...
