Although you could easily put Pisani in for Kopecky and not make much of a difference. I also hate putting Brouwer down on the third line, since I would really like to see him in on the first line with the kids.
Ideally Sharp and Bolland would both be back, in which case I would sit both Kop and Pisani. Lord knows that Scott should not see any time without some horrific turn of events.
On another note, since it appears that Leddy cannot be given more than six or seven minutes of ice time a night, I would almost rather see Cullimore up. At least he could go against some of the bigger forwards we are going to see a little better.
I really have no idea how to answer this thread's initial question, but I have a few issues with what you're saying.
Benching Kopecky? Bad idea. He can play and he plays hard. There's a reason why there's no way in hell he'll be benched for the playoffs. You can hope for it, but it's a ridiculous dream.
Secondly, Cullimore instead of Leddy? There's not even anything to say besides no. No thank you. If anything, I'd put him with #4 instead of Keith, but no matter who he's paired up with, it's better than Cullimore being on the ice.
And what does it matter where Brouwer is? The guy isn't a point producer no matter who he's with. Stick him with anyone and he's going to serve the same purpose. A somewhat dependable big body that can play hockey and chip in with a rare goal. Nothing more, nothing less. Just like Kopecky, he plays hard. They can't all be zingers.
