I just had to make this thread. We should know who likes what and why. So post your favorite bands/artists. This should be good.

Mine? :
Hip hop:
Bone Thugs-N-Harmony
2pac
Eminem
Nas
DMX
And anything pre 2004

Bands:
KoRn
Rise Against
The Used
Silverstein
Godsmack
Disturbed
Limp Bizkit
Evans Blue
Too many 80's bands
Cold
Blue October
Breaking Benjamin
Three Days Grace
And many many others. If it's rock or old school hip hop I probably dig it!

Post yours!

It makes me sound like a prude but my taste in music is pretty eclectic. I've been collecting vinyl and writing music since I was 15. Needless to say, I've listened to a lot of stuff, seen a lot of concerts, etc.

Picking a 'favorite' is too hard for me. Instead, here's the last five albums that've graced one of my turntables --

Surfer Blood Astro Coast. Super young cats from Florida. Nice surf rock sound with some pop flare. One of the best albums from 2010.

Moby Grape Live 1966-69. Just like how I love my peanut butter -- thick 'n creamy! Skip Spence... before he lost is mind. I'd also suggest checking out his solo album 'OAR.'

Boris Absolutego. About as heavy and loud as you can get. Noisy, brutal, etc. Listen at your own risk.

MF DOOM MM...FOOD. Yup, it's about food. Tasty album. One of his more conventional releases.

Pet Shop Boys Please. This album has the greatest single of all-time on it. You need to listen to it.
