Top 5 games for the PS2?
1. Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence- MGS3:Snake Eater was amazing, but the controllable camera angle that was added to this version made this the best game for the PS2
2. Grand Theft Auto Vice City- I played the shit out of this game for a good year. best cast of voice actors in one game, IMO.
3. Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance- again, MGS2:Sons of Liberty was amazing, but the directors cut of it was better. I'm biased though since MGS is my favorite series.
4. MVP Baseball 2003- super addicting franchise mode. if you play enough seasons, all the players end of season stats will be 100+ HR's, 250+ RBI's, and a .400+ AVG.
5. Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King- video games based on movies usually suck, but this game was awesome. hack and slashing orcs and uruk-hai all day is great stress relief.
Honorable Mention (because there are soooo many good games)- ICO, Shadow of the Colossus, God of War, God of War II, GTA III, SOCOM US Navy Seals, Sly Cooper and the Thievious Raccoonus, Sly 2, Sly 3, Jak and Daxter, Jak 2, Jak 3, Kingdom Hearts, Athens 2004, and many, many more games.
