Given that the rate players take 3 pointers has been going up for years now, it'll be beaten by someone else some day. Can't really say Kirk doesn't deserve it for now though, he's a decent three point shooter, it's not like he's chucking them at a horrible percentage.

Well since he didn't get traded you can't really be surprised that he got up to 1st. He's not the worst shooter in the world...

Well obviously because 1) Hinrich doesn't shoot over 40% from 3 every season and 2) doesn't take as many 3's as Gordon. So duh it took him longer. My guess is that if he didn't play like crap this season he would've gotten it long ago.

I wonder for how many threes of Gordon Kirk has given the assist.

dang, that's pretty pathetic, i'm not gonna lie. no real 3 point shooters have ever stayed with the bulls. hinrich is nice, but not a known three point shooter, they let gordon walk, and third is scottie pippen???

What was that one Eddie Jordan quote that Mark had a few podcasts ago? Something like "Hinrich's a nice player, he can hit the three"? There you go. Then again...that was the same comment he gave Deng if I remember correctly. :p

haha but you ask the average NBA fan about hinrich, most say, "who the hell is that :D" the others say, "oh the defender?" that's what he's really known for.

and saying that about deng...if deng were to shoot it in rhythym and not wait around forever, i think he could hit the corner three at a GREAT rate.

Definitely true, Hinrich is known for his defense, not his shooting. And rightly so, his defense far exceeds his shooting ability. But he's not that bad. 38% career is above average to my understanding.
