Anybody here try this Chrome add on? Like a free VPN at the click of a browser button. Only 4 or 5 servers I believe.

Has anyone tried it? Is it effective and are the connections decent?

Well, **** it. I tried it and can now watch hulu vids which were restricted here, and other sites which are not available "in my area". Speed does slow a bit, but just need to pause for a while to allow buffering.

Decent free alternative to subscribing to a VPN, and better than using TOR browser.

I use Hola to access things like Netflix or whatnot through out of country proxies (content varies by country). It's fairly slow, as to be expected, but tends to work well.
