The whole output of the NFC north was changed because the bears drafted Shea.

Harrison Smith was on the board. We would have taken him from the Vikings. Packers would not have got chandler jones

Not sure Harrison Smith by himself would’ve fixed Lovies or Mel Tuckers secondary. Draft hindsight is always ridiculous

And we wouldn't have had the third pick and traded up for Mitch "I'm going to be the greatest QB ever until I retire and the Bears draft the next greatest QB of all time" Trubisky

I completely agree that we had so many obviously better options. But Smith wouldn't have saved the secondary with the coaching changes we had.

If the San Diego Chargers had not taken Mike Guendling in the 2nd round of the 1984 draft the Bears would have 14 more rings, John Fox would be President of the United States and Cyberdyne would have never built those damn killer cyborgs.

Kendall Wright was drafted right after Shea McClellin. If you are drunk and think about it the Bears basically had two 1sts in 2012.

While we're playing this silly game, Beasley over White would have been nice too...

You are right by saying Harrison Smith wouldn’t have fixed it his self, however, we have spent how many picks trying to find a S since the 2012 draft? 8?

Those picks could have been used to find late draft picks like tyrike Hill

I like Ryan paces draft strategy. I think he will put us on the right track. Eddie Jackson looks promising but I would love to pair him with another lockdown safety. Amos is not that
