I’m just not sure where the train wreck is. Everything the past couple months have felt like posturing. We’re talking about a multi-billion dollar infrastructure project that has barely begun.

If they hadn't already spent the money on the land and then demo-ing the site, I'd believe the 'shopping around for a site' gimmick more. As it stands, I believe they're trying to use the threat of the other sites to get a sweetheart deal in Arlington Heights. I think that's ultimately where they end up anyway and maybe they get a few minor concessions before ultimately going with Arlington Heights.

I also dont think they are in a huge rush. Isn’t their lease at soldier field thru 2030 or something? They can pay it out early but they have time here to do this right the first time whether that’s in AH or somewhere else

Well I am a pretty good looking, gregarious guy but Montucky is correct, in my experience less than 10 percent of all the people I know who have real estate licenses, sell more than a handful of properties each year, and only a couple of them broker commercial dealzzzz.
