The biggest deficiency this team has (other than coaching), is the secondary. Those guys back there are clueless
It’s not a fluke play though. It’s a chain of errors. That’s why your rookie QB was screaming at the DBs from the sideline. to guard against the 10-15 yard out. Hell Romo called exactly what was about to happen. That’s why we’ve seen multiple coaches in that exact situation call timeouts before a Hail Mary attempt. That’s why coaches put a couple of their tallest offensive players in on a Hail Mary. That’s why coaches bring a modicum of pressure in a Hail Mary. Flus is asleep at the wheel. It’s stunning because, the one thing everyone assumed he was good at was DC type decisions. Turns out that may be the weakest aspect of the team.I can kind of live with a fluke play, but to consistently be beat on 3rd and longs is horrible.
I don’t know. The defense has failed them on 3 of the last 5 loses. I don’t know if it’s all on the coaches. The players have some culpabilityDoes a competent coaching staff have this team at 8-3? Yes it does. That’s your answer darling
HE WAS RUSHING ONLY 4 IN CRUNCH TIME, NO F'ING PRESSURE
FIRE EBERFLUS AZZ......MON AT 9AM !!!!!
Monday? Why Monday? U fire him now if u have the balls.. actually should have been fired after that fail Mary .. could have probably savaged our season.
This is still a team that scored three points against New England.Does a competent coaching staff have this team at 8-3? Yes it does. That’s your answer darling
Its the biggest hole on the teamThat secondary is horrible
It’s still a fluke even though many mistakes happened. If they run that Hail Mary 100 times, there’s no doubt the Bears win a very high percentage of them. It’s not a fluke play though. It will be addressed with 4th rd picks and value sale FA’sIts the biggest hole on the team
To some extent. But you can’t tell me going into soft zone and not blitzing in overtime was a wise decision. They literally did anything they wanted to in overtimeI don’t know. The defense has failed them on 3 of the last 5 loses. I don’t know if it’s all on the coaches. The players have some culpability
Yes. Thank you for pointing out that they checked out Waldron’s scheme. 340yards and 2 TD’s against one of the league’s best defenses tells you it wasn’t the players but it was the scheme and play calling. (And that’s with several egregious drops)This is still a team that scored three points against New England.
To be honest they did whatever they want most of the game. If it wasn’t for a fumble on their first drive, this game doesn’t see OT.To some extent. But you can’t tell me going into soft zone and not blitzing in overtime was a wise decision. They literally did anything they wanted to in overtime
How many times can they lose games with a 90% win probability and we keep calling it a fluke instead of complete incompetence. At some point, you are so bad that a statistical anomaly is no longer an anomaly. It’s still a fluke even though many mistakes happened. If they run that Hail Mary 100 times, there’s no doubt the Bears win a very high percentage of them.
They forced 4 punts. To be honest they did whatever they want most of the game. If it wasn’t for a fumble on their first drive, this game doesn’t see OT.
I’m not defending Flus. I’m just saying that Hail Mary is still a fluke. I can go be the coach and the Bears will win that rep more than 50% of the time. How many times can they lose games with a 90% win probability and we keep calling it a fluke instead of complete incompetence. Average amountThey forced 4 punts.
You can’t play that game. We can say the same about the stupid muffed punt.To be honest they did whatever they want most of the game. If it wasn’t for a fumble on their first drive, this game doesn’t see OT.
Correct. But teams with poor leadership make poor decisionsYou can’t play that game. We can say the same about the stupid muffed punt.
And you’d almost certainly be a better HC than Flus. I can absolutely say that with confidence despite the fact that I do not even know you. Both you and I would’ve called a timeout before the preceding play and certainly before the Hail Mary. Whether it’s a fluke play or not…the opportunity literally should never have existed. Except the head coach that’s supposed to be a Defensive guy let his team go soft, just like he did today, because he’s coaching not to lose and…he lost again.I’m not defending Flus. I’m just saying that Hail Mary is still a fluke. I can go be the coach and the Bears will win that rep more than 50% of the time.
That is the consistent thing here. This team always finds a way to make mistakes. Over and over, we make little mistakes.Correct. But teams with poor leadership make poor decisions
Because it’s the coaching staff. Flus doesn’t pay attention to the details. That is the consistent thing here. This team always finds a way to make mistakes. Over and over, we make little mistakes.
No one is saying much, but how do we allow a blocked kick after last week? How is that not hammered in practice all week?
