I'll take this opportunity to say I was wrong about Jack Sanborn. He was a lot slower earlier in his career but he's gotten to the point where he's a really damn good linebacker.
I want to humbly say I was wrong , but not really, I will add a ridiculous statement about a linebacker getting a lot faster and that he has improved, so I wasn't really wrong, but I am the bigger man.

Yes and it was to the back and only after Horn threw two to the face. Should have been a personal foul like Johnson for Panthers.
Circumstances don't matter,
"Throwing a punch, or a forearm, or kicking at an opponent, even though no contact is made. The player will be automatically disqualified regardless of whether the penalty is accepted or declined by the opponent."

but thanks for bringing this up, I learned today that the facemask includes the entire helmet including the very back of the head area.

Yeah I get that but if that were the case then there would be a lot of disqualifications every game. They definitely do not enforce it as strictly as it is stated here.

Because you want to turn an In Game Thread into the 81st Fields thread? No.
Go **** your own face. Except I’m sure your **** is too small and you can’t even get it up anymore so that’s likely physically impossible.

So I am finally watching this game in its entirety. I had watched parts of the second half prior and actually caught them before during a lull in the ass-whooping when the Bears offense didn't look great in the 3rd quarter.

  • The Bears are improving and are starting to play like we thought they would
  • Others have said it (and it was mentioned even in the pre-season), but these "backup" guards look pretty good
  • Still need more speed at wide-receiver
  • I am ashamed to admit this, but I just got a new laptop that happens to have a 4K OLED display, and I thought that having to watch the replay of the game on the laptop while I was doing some mindless work would suck, but instead it's amazing. This laptop is the best "TV" in my whole house 🤣
