Yea kinda the point I made above.

Their run game is so dangerous because he's a threat to run on every handoff to the RB, just like JF1. We already saw how a running qb puts stress on an opposing defense.

If you take that threat away and he's essentially a pure pocket passer the loss of gordon/brisker wont be as big.


Also, I'm pretty sure they are without their starting left tackle, so that would be a huge loss for them on offense too

Because I want the win. But more importantly, this could be a really good test. Wish our secondary was all healthy, but this is the NFL. I expect this to be a good game, a close game. With Daniels starting, I'm going to make it closer:

Bears 27
Commanders 24

We win on a FG with 3:25 left. Daniels tries to win with a two-minute drill, but fails, intercepted with :45 left.

Gordon and brisker are both huge in run support and are both excellent Blitzers as well. Kyler is really good at taking away the underneath stuff too and preventing YAC. It’s a huge loss.

All that said, the Bears have more talent than the commies. This is a game that legitimate teams win. The question marks/knock on the Bears is they can’t/haven’t beat a winning team nor have a road victory. Can they pass the test and deflate those narratives?

I think he is also subpar as a receiver. So, I think they have just deemed him too one dimensional for what they want to do.

Their offense is not that good. Relax. The Bears defense has not allowed 21 points to any team in their last 12 games. The Commanders aren't going to suddenly roll up 30 on this defense.

The Bears are going to expose Kliff and Jayden today but it will be blamed on his injury in the national media narrative.
