It was their strong point until the owner decided to fire the guy that was the architect of that defense. Now that, plus injuries, means their defense is falling off and the offense does not seem capable of providing a lift.

The existence of Tepper means other NFL owners can only shoot for top 5 of being the worst owners in the NFL. Woody Johnson is definitely in the top 5 of worst NFL owners, maybe even top 3.

Because for all the "non-losing" seasons, he has won 3 playoff games in 13 years and none in the last 7. That's why the 17 season streak looks far different to them than folks on the outside. That's not what they expect in Pittsburgh and doing it with a coach called "an all time great" rubs wrong. They've been in purgatory and they know it.

No, but they did just allow Pittsburgh's highest scoring output. 31 unanswered. Ugly.
And that was with Rusty Russ in the 1st quarter.
They've allowed a lot more points the past three weeks than the first four when they played Titans, Broncos Pats.
