Correct. Campbell was a fucking moron to try that and to also run it as an option play. I think Darnold is showing his true colors(finally) and Flores is handcuffed by the lack of talent on that defense. Zero blitzes with a safety on St Brown in the slot is one stupid playcall. Reminds me of Pagano putting Danny T on MVS on an all out blitz. Pop

Thought he should have just sent Harrison instead if faking as think Harrison ended up in middle of field covering no one. Id Harrison had gone he would have been unblocked and maybe disrupted that pass or gotten a sack.

I’m in no way defending that. I am rejecting the take that the guy does nothing. For most of ny life the Lions have been awful. Now they’re respectable. I refuse to believe he has nothing to do with that. It’s not logical.
