YES. I know it may not make sense, but absolutely. Winning a 5th trophy and being in American Soccer history as the winningest team in the tournaments 98 year history is a big deal to many of us. More so than scrapping into the playoffs and MAYBE making some noise. Look, we're a long shot for the playoffs, and this season's end (so far) is going to be a real boost to the team for next season. if we make the playoff, I'll be glad and take it--but NO WAY would I want that at the expense of the USOC.
Also, in case you didn't know, if you win the USOC titel, you are in the play-in's for the CONCAF Champions League....think UEFA Champions League, but for our neck of the world.

I'm still kinda the other way, being that I tend to view things in MLS in a similar manner to other sports, when I shouldn't.
But the CONCACAF would be great, I just kinda think that if we win this, our playoff odds are better than our odds of beating Seattle. I'm just not too confident facing Seattle right now, but I hope the :fire: prove me wrong.
