Well, I didn't score tix in the lotto,but my mom did, to Game 5.
Waiting to hear whether they will use them. (They are way too old to enjoy going to a chaotic atmosphere such as that.)
But the Tues-Wed-Thurs makes it damn tough on a guy 6 hours away. Let's win the pennant and allow me to go to WS. The Fri-Sat-Sun schedule is much friendlier.

You need to go to the game 5 if you have the opportunity with your mom's tickets!
Not sure if you've been to a playoff game but the atmosphere is just incredible! I didn't win any ticket lottery so it looks like game 4 of the NLDS will be the last game in my price range so I'm glad I went.

Didn't we already see this movie and we won it 7-0? I don't know why everyone is so hyped about this series. We should win this series in 5 games.

Both teams are completely different from the last time they met. Not to mention, the regular season is irrelevant. If it worked that way, the Cards would be in the NLCS.

I am trying to see if feasible. Would need to miss a day and a half (and I missed a day and a half this week for out of town funeral). But I may swing it.
I also hold out hope (little) of getting WS tix, if we are there. The NL games are Fri-Sat-Sun. KC also a possibility. I don't know what to expect price wise on secondary market, but I would bet it's a lot lower than Chicago, if that situation arises.
