What.the.fuck? How can everyone be slumping so badly at the same time? When the cubs don't score early it often feels like they will never score. It makes a 0-1 game feel like it is 0-10.

It's better that the Cubs lose now. You don't have to worry about getting your hopes up later. This is not a WS team. Even if the bats got hot (they won't), the Cubs have probably the worst bullpen in the playoffs. There is almost no one to trust.
Move on to next year and hope they are not so unbelievably unlucky with the free agent signings and injuries.
