Kobe Bryant had a couple of years where he was almost unstoppable in the clutch. But he is one of the most overrated clutch shooters in the history of the NBA. I'll take Reggie any day of the week (down 2 or 3 with the last shot).

Yeah overall id go with Miller. For that "stretch" id go with Kobe.

Kobe

The thread is to pick 1 player to take the final shot in a game. Not "in the last 10 seconds assemble a team outfitted with great shooters"
lmao

Carmelo Anthony is by far the most clutch scorer in the NBA today. He is overrated largely. But the guy flat out makes game-winners. He takes bad shots largely but he hits an astounding percentage of them.

Pretty sure it was a huge game from Rodman, though.

  2. Oakland Raiders

I'm kinda surprised more people on here haven't said Bird... I think only 1 person mentioned Bird.

Some people consider Bird to be even more clutch in the final 10 seconds than MJ.

I think Pat Riley once said ""If i had to choose a player to take a final shot to win a game I'd choose Jordan. But if i could pick 1 to shoot to save my life i would pick Bird "

So I'm going with Larry

Bird would be my pick followed by Kobe. Kobe could get a shot off better than Bird, but he can't shoot as well.

I would go with Iverson, just because he can create enough space to get his shot off or even drive if it is 2 or less points.

Thank you sir...and that 1 person happens to be me on page 1 and 2 of this thread..Larry Bird was definately clutch in all game situations...he could take over a whole game at times and was known for buzzer beaters...And its rare for a big guy like himself to be mobile enough to hit outside shots which is difficult for the one assigned to defend him....Glad you reminded people...Larry played the power forward position quite a bit too...
