Well, it happened again....hawks were outplayed in ALL aspects of the game. Everybody played the EXACT SAME WAY, nobody checked, turnovers in our own end (ENDLESSLY), Sharks camped out in front of the net and EVERYBODY is a goal scorer! The Hawks need an ENERGY line and a CHECKING line. I've been questioning how good Dunk really is. He turns the puck over CONSISTANTLY.
And, ummmm, Hawks.....your STICKS are not a replacement for CHECKING!!!!

pretty much summed up that game. it is getting very frustrating

Makes one wonder exactly why these guys needed time in Vegas? Some coaches would have them skating laps.

Point of order: sticks can be used to check with - a check is more than just body on body impact... now the effectiveness of stick checking at specific times can be debated (and maybe successfully) - but checking is more than just hitting someone.

I agree, there haven't been any good fights this season, Scott did.. o k a y .. I thought he'd do more, Jake Dowell is getting a little better with his brawls. maybe one day, he'll have a face like Boynton. Til they start throwing down the gloves, I guess it's just hockeyfights.com that's going to have to entertain us right? btw. happy Thanksgiving to everyone.
