it's a strange coincidence but my neck is stiff as hell today. moving sucks. i hope rose is better.

on a related note thibs is running the starters to the ground. Deng is prolly leading the league in minutes. i get it, he's a smart player, but he's really injury prone. Rose 's injury might be due to large load of minutes he's played of late. If so, it's time to trust the bench a bit more.

Derrick Rose has been bothered by neck spasms since Wednesday and now sounds unlikely to play in Friday's game at Denver.

The Bulls are fyling in John Lucas, whom they cut just before the start of the season, to sign as their third point guard. Rose hasn't been ruled out yet, but according to this report from ESPN's Marc Stein, Rose is "expected to skip the game," which will also leave his status for Saturday at Sacramento in doubt. This is a real shame because Rose has been playing at such a high level. Look for C.J. Watson to start if Rose can't go.
