Nice to see them play well. Hope they can play well and show improvement but still land a top 3 pick.

That would be a neat trick. :) Seriously, they will win some games...enough that it will hurt their draft status but they do
have that cap relief they can provide. Plus a couple of players that could draw some attention at the deadline. IMOP,
the two weeks preceding the deadline will be the most important time of the season for them. There might be a way to get that Top 3 pick going that route.

As a casual observer, I think they should sell and be active in that way at the deadline. But I'm going to be disappointed, aren't I?

Maybe. Maybe not. They can't possibly believe this team has a shot to do much of anything. If they do, if they trust Bowman will dig up some past his prime savior....then they are indeed, hopeless. Gotta hope they are not that blind.

At last count they were only 7 points out of last wildcard. Hawks are not gonna tank with this many games left.

Stan just needs to spend his new found wealth wisely and trade for 1 year rentals without giving up prime assets in return. there are going to be teams looking to do a salary dump and those sort of deals become one sided for the buyer.

One outlier win and we are now counting playoff points and relying on Bowman to actually be a difference maker.

Chicago had a lot of jump in the Islanders game. Wish they played like more often.

Well...you dont lose with 1 second left in overtime everyday.

Lehner decided to save everyone the dog and pony show.
