Lineup.

#Cubs lineup @ #RedSox (5/20): Castro SS, Barney 2B, Baker 3B, Ramirez DH, Pena 1B, Byrd CF, Soriano LF, Johnson RF, Hill C ... Davis P

Why is Soriano playing left as opposed to DHing?

Cuz we are playing a lefty most likely.

Ramirez sucks at 3B too so we are still replacing a poor defender.

The difference between Baker and Ramirez at 3B is probably better than the difference of whatever OF concoction we would have put together with this lineup.

Only issue I have is would have like to have seen Castillo play vs the lefty over Hill. Though Hill has played well lately.

The story about the Cubs allegedly throwing the 1918 WS is on Outside the Lines right now.

Going out on a limb and saying Cubs take two.

If the Cubs win today they could easily sweep, but the Red Sox have been killing righties lately which obviously bodes well for the weekend matchups.

Yeah, Lester's clearly the best pitcher the Cubs are going to face at Fenway. But, for whatever reason, the Cubs have this weird tendency to kill the guys they're not supposed to and then get shut out by the guys who probably should be throwing batting practice for minor league teams.

So, if the Cubs do beat Lester, there's the chance for the sweep, but I'm not sure I'd call it an easy sweep by any means.

No, Damn it Davis does equal sweep. If you can only pick one option, then picking Damn it Davis would mean that you don't think we would have either 3, 2, or 1 wins, thus meaning we were swept.
