Why not let Wells pitch for Cubs tomorrow? If he going to throw 75 pitches for AAA might as well let him in MLB
As I watch this game I think to myself...this might just be the inning that turns around the season.
Cubs fans invade Fenway and the bats start going to come back against a hot team. The Cubs have huge amounts momentum right now. I know its a bullpen game tomorrow, and they could even lose, but the growth in confidence from this inning alone might just turn around the entire outlook of the season.
Bryd-less, Garza-less, who cares. I'll always have faith in the team that hasn't won in 100 years. Don't ask me why.
So, here's what I've learned from this Cubs/ BoSox game:
1. Alfonso Soriano runs the bases like a little leaguer that puts his helmet on backwards. Accordingly, he has founded the "Alfonso Soriano School for Base Running."
2. Jed Lowrie went to the aforementioned school as well as the "Alfonso Soriano School for Catching Pop Flies."
3. The BoSox went to the "Chicago Cubs School for Defense."
