His likeness was not allowed to be used if i recall. He wasn't in any games. Not in NBA jam not in NBA live. It wasnt until well into the 2000's they finally started using him.
Charles Barkley too

Jordan was in the early 90s video games.. Bulls vs Lakers/Blazers, and I think NBA Showdown. He wasn't in NBA Jam at all, and wasn't in NBA Live until 2000. Then he opted out of being a part of the games until NBA 2k11 made the game all about him.

I became interested in basketball as a 6 year old in the summer before the 94-95 season... I remember the kids in the neighborhood all liking BJ Armstrong a lot (especially the shorter kids). But he only stayed there one more season then kind of became an after thought. So I maybe got a glimpse of the appeal, but I'm still not sure I see it warranted enough for him to get as many votes as he did. I feel like if it was just Bulls homers, Pippen would have many more votes.

I think this was Jordans first video game. It was the first basketball game I ever played and remember it to this day.

and of course all you could do was play Jordan vs Bird lol.

Bulls vs Blazers was the only early 90s game I played, and only did because some older kid in the neighborhood had it and was reminiscing by 1996 about it lol. The rest of us were playing NBA Live 96, which had Jordan in there as PLAYER 99 or something like that.

Oddly enough, many games autofilled jordan stats when you did create-a-player. NBA Live series center probably wouldn't exist(at least for a few more years) if it wasn't for the fact everyone wanted to hack the shit outta that engine to get Jordan's everything fully integrated into the game.

Live 96 and Tecmo Bowl, IDK why, people hacked these 2 forever, long after they were superseded. Still not quite what MVP Baseball 2005 did, holy shit, thats a whole nother level....

Happy new years guys.
