I stand corrected then, I was drunk so my bad. The announcer didn't remember 1985, nobody does but us on a consistent basis. Still sad that a guy who gets paid to cover football would say that so I get it.

There is literally a whole ESPN tv segment made for '85 Bears that came out just last week, plus Denver is yapping their mouths about how they compare to 1985...

He never won SHIT as a player..... Nothing besides a few AFC championships as a backup. he did lose an AFC championship as a fill-in after Elway left from a thigh bruise.. a freakin thigh bruise

Just watched it again on Youtube and Nantz clearly said the first coach in history to win a SB with the team he played for. Nothing about winning it in his first year as HC. Which is the same way he said it multiple times during the actual game.

I think Ditka ought to go over there and kick Nance's ass:(
