Yep...selfish penalty for sticking up for his goalie...after seeing the starter go down getting run a few games ago

Oduya should be less Special person and more unselfish like Avery would be. He was the ultimate team player.

Not counting the games the Rangers lost with Avery in the lineup...I think the Rangers were undefeated with him

Maybe they should have made the "Oduya Rule" where you're allowed to assault a player with a weapon for barely touching your goalie.

At least then he'd be tied with Avery for rules made because of his innovations to the game.

Well, our PK without Crawford is really starting to hurt... that's all I got. The penalties were dumb, they need to be smarter about that retaliation stuff or they will turn into the Canucks in the playoffs. It's only two games now where I've seen that, so I'm not too worried about it.

It's really interesting to watch this year, I feel like the Hawks are just on a whole other level when they are playing teams this year... like something I would expect out of an NHL team playing in the AHL for the year, lol. I never thought LA had a chance of winning this game, even with the score being that close.

Along with the Oduya penalty there should have been a kIngs penalty for goalie interference. Kings also got away with a crosscheck in the 3rd. The Hawks need to stopping sitting back on the lead and play hard the whole 60 minutes.

soooooo anyone see the goal Oduya saved? You know that incredible save he made diving in the crease and getting his stick in the way of a sure goal then getting his face slapped with a stick by the opposition player?

Lets keep talking about the stupid slash penalty he took or the dumb high stick penalty toews took. But then again Toews is so confident in his teams PK he should take dumb penalties.

Honestly though being a jack ass aside the play Oduya made to save a sure goal was incredible and could have been a game saving play. But he sucks and he was the only Hawk player to take a dumb penalty today.....right. He was the best blueliner on the ice today.

I thought Keith was the best blueliner on the ice today, but yeah I thought Oduya was pretty good too. His penalty was dumb, but outside of that he played a really good game. Can't complain unless all that stuff starts to result in losses.

Kings also got away with a CLEAR trip right in front of Kozari in the 3rd, followed directly by a high stick against Toews. That 3rd period was fucking awful by Kozari and Walsh. You just wonder why they are out there.

I don't know man. Like Toews not fighting, Seabrook should clearly not put his testicles as a first line of defense. He's risking the entire season by throwing his testicles out there?

IT WORKED FOR SAMI SALO

Is there an incidental contact rule in regard to high sticks? He was trying to dance around the guy and wasn't able to and the stick just so happened to catch the other guy in the yap.

Doesn't matter never would have happened as the Hawks should have been on the PP. Terrible no call.

I don't see how getting your balls scrambled is in any way similar to getting your BRAIN scrambled.
