Jags
@Packers
Vikings

If the Bears hit the by at 1-7 or 2-6 does anything big happen?

Can really see 1-7 being a possibility.

I wonder if embarrassing loses to GB and Minnesota will piss off Virginia?

This is going to be an ugly entrance to the bye week.

Well the Jags beat the colts, bears lost to the colts. And no way they are beating minny and green bay.

Getting rid of Trestman and Emery like they did was shocking enough. I don't see them doing it again.

I mean at this point, even if they did, does anyone honestly have faith that they would hire the right guys? I have 30 years of history to argue against that. Also, even if the Bears take the number 1 QB in the draft, anyone who thinks Fox could develop a QB is insane. He's as mediocre as coaches get, and he certainly doesn't know shit about offenses.

No way in hell are we losing to the Packers this year.

a win at Lambeau would be awesome.

another at Soldier Field even better.

another win over the Lions would be most ideal.

4-12 should get a high pick right?

I don't think 1-7 matters as long as the young guys are getting better. If were competitive and getting the young guys better then record won't matter. The future is bright. Not sure why Fox is the scrape goat here. He has this talent-less injured team playing above their heads. Could be the best coach we ever had. And yes he is average at best.

Bears are going to be 2-6 at best at the mid way point. All on Fox and the pressure is going to only get worse.

that is because of the W-L record, that is all that matters at the end.

I think if we lose all three badly then Fox might, might, come under some pressure. Hell, even a bad loss at home to the Jags (and I'd say it's at best a 50/50 game for us) could do it under normal circumstances. But everything we've heard out of Halas Hall suggest that Fox is in a strong position in the organisation and I think it's unlikely to happen. Windy - if you're honest with yourself, you know this to be true but at this point you want to believe that Fox could get the sack so badly that you are prepared to believe anything!
