The city of Guadalupe in mexico recieved one applicant for police chief in the wake of violence, a 20 year old female criminology student.

I just saw a story last week about an American couple jet skiing on lake that is between borders and they were shot at. The husband was killed and I think some Mexican cop that investigated it disappeared and then they found his head or something. Wino probably knows what I'm talking about.

2500 people killed in the area from drug related dealings.... FOR **** SAKE CALL IN THE ARMY, declare marshal law, anything. Mayor's and family getting killed, police chiefs. It's obvious there is no control.

It's been like this for a while... the Drug Cartels just have waaaaay too much power in the area. If they can't bribe them, they disappear and end up no longer needing hats.

Exactly, and that 2500 people are just within the last year. Can you imagine if Chicago had 2500 drug related killings in the last year? We'd be Detroit!

I understand being one of those people who want to make a change in the world and "I'm going to rise against the odds and try and do it", but for every 1 person that goes through that turmoil and succeeds there are tons more who went for it and crashed because of bad luck or just a bad idea.



This would fall under the "bad idea" category.
