We had some very talented players in that first year with Buff and Ladd, but we didn't play as good of defense nor was our 4th line as skilled (Eager-Fraser-Burish compared to Frolik-Bolland-Kruger-Stalberg/Bollig/Carcillo/Ben Smith. So primarily Bolland-Kruger-Frolik).

I believe The Hockey News ranked the 2012-13 in their top 25 or 50 teams ever. Especially since they pretty much ran train on every team in the regular season.

Andrew Ladd has 20 goals already.

2nd highest on the Hawks is Backhandon Saad with 17.

But if we're comparing team talent, I think the 2013 team wins. That 2010 team was real good but I think that's still before Toews and Kane hit their primes. Plus the 2013 third D pairing of Leddy and Roszival beats the 2010 duo of Boynton and ... who? Honestly can't recall.

Sopel...geez, didn't you see his gigantic Stache on Sunday?

On a side note, Boynton and Sharp CLEARLY saw the OT Cup winning puck was in the Net... so did I think Timonen. That always annoyed me hearing analysts saying "Kane was the only one who knew the puck was in" Boynton clearly saw it right away and went to cheer with Kane as Kane came around the net and got simply blown by and ignored.
