My thoughts:

1) 4 Saturday games in October will be fun. (also good business from the broker side too with games those days)

2) We get crappy Columbus 2 years in a row now as the first game after x-mas. This is the marquee game of the season and they stick us with that. At least we have the Habs preceding it and the Wings on 12/30

3) Another brutal road trip in february

4) The Hawks go almost 4 weeks with no home games. So from 1/25 through 2/18 they are away. Wow!

5) Season is ending a week earlier next April which is nice. And we don't have the 2 final games of the year against Detroit again thankfully.

We have the 1... I guess that's not as bad, but it is at Detroit which is just as bad.

Man... Winnipeg has an easier schedule than we do. There's an 8 game homestand in there, AND they don't have to go to any of the Pacific Division cities this year. -.-

Why can't we have their schedule? UGH -.-

Well my gamble kinda paid off. Had my honeymoon booked a few months now and took a chance on finishing up in Chicago on October 9 so a bit pissed at missing the season opener but Winnipeg is going to be a great game, fingers crossed I can get tickets. Going home the night of the Boston game so that sucks would love to see another original 6 game. When do tickets go on sale and whats the likelihood of it selling out really quickly.

I'm really considering trips to Minnesota in December or New Jersey in March, perhaps both for games this year, since Minnesota is cheap to get to. I hear that Minnesota is a pain to get a ticket in, though. I doubt New Jersey will be difficult, so I might give that a try. Seeing the Hawks in St Louis in March is rather nice also.

San Jose during the circus trip is nice too, but with the tickets typically selling out, I'm worried on getting a ticket there.

Oh sweet the Bulls can fly down to Dallas early and hang out with the Blackhawks since they both open their season there!
