Because that's what the media does in Chicago. Always looking for a story that isn't there. Trying to spin a story as well.

I like Derrick for how he acts now.

Certainly I wouldn't be affected by what he does, but media spin and perception does affect players.

I'm with nwfisch on this on. If Rose was openly recruiting players, the media will spin it saying, "Oh finally Rose admits that he can't win with these guys and he needs some help". That can make the other guys wonder if he letting the media get to him.
