It doesn't matter if the Bucks have Butler on their radar so long as Butler does not have the Bucks on his.

... I was talking about Michael Redd being on our Radar hahaha.

Idk where that link came from... I only copied the first sentence from that link... weird

Michael Redd will be resuming his pro career this season but, for the first time since entering the NBA in 2000, it won't be with the Bucks.

Redd, an unrestricted free agent, is a cinch to join another team when the signing period begins Dec. 9. Redd, who has had two major knee surgeries in recent years, is drawing keen interest from a slew of teams, including some NBA-title contenders.

According to some league officials, Chicago, Boston, New York and Miami all have Redd on their radar

Because that's what the media does in Chicago. Always looking for a story that isn't there. Trying to spin a story as well.

I like Derrick for how he acts now.

Certainly I wouldn't be affected by what he does, but media spin and perception does affect players.

I think you care about the media more than the players do. Don't lie. I know you stay up late stabbing your Trent Dilfer voodoo dolls with needles. Seriously, you do worry about what the media always says. Rose looking for a role player isn't going to cause any media stir.

Rose can handle criticism. He can handle doubters. I think it's kind of cool that he doesn't want to ask for help but he needs to get real. This isn't Lebron or Wade. We're looking for a guy who can be his backcourt Robin. He won't be a threat to him. He's being too stubborn. Get all the help you can, everyone else is.

I sure hope so. :nervous:

Rose doesn't really control the help he gets. He can say he wants "Player X" but that doesn't mean Gar and Pax will go and break the bank for that player. I just don't think it's like Rose to ask for help, nor do I really want him to.

I think the Bulls do have enough right now. It's no easy task getting to the Finals, but looking at players the Bulls can acquire, I don't think anyone of them will singlehandly put the Bulls over the hump.

He doesn't control it but you would think him reaching out would make players feel more welcomed and wanted by the face of the franchise. It does more good than harm.

There isn't anyone that puts us over the top or hump or whatever. We don't need that. There's enough talent and youth that will progress in conjunction with good coaching. because these players are nowhere near the top tiers of players, the media has nothing to spin on it. That's like the media calling out Kobe for reaching out to Von Wafer.

I think I'd rather have Tracy McGrady or Michael Redd over Nick Young in all honesty. Especially considering it is lesser risk and higher reward.

:smh:

Especially at the "higher reward" thing for TMac.

I'd take Young over Tmac in a heartbeat.

Young I'd take over Redd too.

I'd have to see what each player would cost though..I can't imagine the cost ratio is that far out of whack.

Considering Young has tunnel vision with the ball in his hands, and T-Mac and Redd would only likely have 1-year deal, I think that would be a much smarter option for the Bulls.

Any NBA coach, except maybe Don Nelson, is going to tell his guys to pass the ball. Some players just don't take well to coaching.

I just feel like Young is going to demand about 4 years and some decent money on his next contract. We already have a player who takes up 5M per-year on the pay-roll who plays the perimeter and does not play good defense (Korver).

Redd and McGrady are veteran players with failing bodies. But Redd does know how to spread the floor. McGrady would not serve well being in the first unit but he would only come for one year, too.

Actually, the player I really hope the Bulls can land is Richard Hamilton if the Pistons shed his contract. Perhaps they would even trade him here for Korver and pieces.

Maybe I'm not up on my Nick Young gossip but is he a guy with a history of 'tude problems?

I dont know why anyone would want Redd. The guy has as much of a chance of staying healthy as Dusty Dvoracek would in the NFL.If its not one injury, its another, then another. Whens the last time he played 50 games in a season?

3 seasons ago.

He's played in 61 games combined over the last 3 years.
