Looks like it could be over after that Cruz home run. But this is an ugly game, so I won't say it's over quite yet.

Going into the playoffs, if the Cards weren't going to win it all, I wanted the Rangers to win it all. I'd be ecstatic if the Cards can make a comeback here, but I'll be very happy for the Rangers winning their first title and Josh Hamilton and Michael Young getting rings.

Crazy thing, Arthur Rhodes gets a ring no matter who wins.

True. But still, I'm not going to want to have to look for recent Sox talk when I can just go to the Sox forum. For Sox fans anyway, Its better to just either keep it as is, or just have an overall baseball forum for general MLB then have a Sox and Cubs subforums.

Hmm, how to describe most Cardinal fans. Most have inferiority complexes due to living in a town full of shitty beer, some even still think they need passports to cross the river.

Since they know they cannot hold a candle to Chicago in every respect, Cardinal fans routinely express their frustrations through baseball.

St. Louis isn't bad. Don't cross the river, yah, but that's the trashy Illinois side.

And the Cardinals have a much better tradition of winning baseball then either of the two Chicago teams.

Plus, their football team was a lot better then the Bears have been when they were going to the Super Bowl every year.
