Whoever scouts talent for the Spurs...I wish we would hire them. They could probably find another Ginobili in the 2nd round. :shifty:

The Hornets have a great chance to improve the team this off-season. 1st priority for them will be to re-sign Eric Gordon. After they do that, they draft Anthony Davis with the #1 pick and BPA at #10. Before signing Gordon, they'll be 25 million dollars under the cap.. so they could even have some room to add free agents.

Portland will also have an opportunity to improve.

They've got the 6th and 11th pick and they already have a couple of good players in Aldridge and Matthews on the team. You can throw in Batum too. Depending on if Crawford opts in or not and if they re-sign some players, they should have about 10 million in cap space too.

Problem is, whoever they draft will probably get injured and be out of the league in 6 years or less. :smug:

Things are looking up for them. And before all the conspiracy theorists chime in I want to say this: If the CP3 trade was not nixed, New Orleans would be in an awful position to improve themselves this off season.

Good, other players are getting combine bumps. If we keep #29 and Wroten is on the board, it should be a no brainer.

Do not draft foreign this year unless it's in the 2nd round. That's my 1 note for this thread.

Definitely interested to see if any of these Noah/Deng trade rumors have some real life to them. Being able to move those two hefty contracts while adding young prospects would be interesting. Could you imagine having the #5 and #8 picks, shedding nearly $26 million in salary, and still have a solid core to build around before Rose comes back from injury?

In my eyes, there are four all-star caliber players in this draft (Davis, Robinson, Beal and Kidd-Gilchrist). With who has the top four picks, one of them not named Davis could be available at #5. Holy shit... if we traded Deng, got that #5 pick and were able to get Kidd-Gilchrist? That'd be amazing. That guy is going to be a star. Love his motor, love his attitude and willingness to give it 110% every second of the game. And if we had the #8 pick, take Dion Waiters or Jeremy Lamb. Rose/Waiters/Kidd-Gilchrist/Gibson/Asik would be an interesting combo, to say the least.

Would love to see the Bulls trade into the 2nd rd and draft William Buford.
