It's draft week! Let's hope we can get a steal this year in it.
So many people have us taking Will Barton. He's going to be serviceable, but I do not want him. He can fit a number of teams, he can do better on other roster configurations, and he might pan out with his career. Just not in Chicago, not on this team. I think we would be throwing our pick away. And so many people have Wroten going 1-4 slots after our pick. Man, Wroten would be such a good fit. He's not just a poor mans Tyreke Evans, I think he could be a Tyreke, AND do more on defense. So much more upside with Wroten than Barton.
I have to miss part of it :crying:
Vin Parise: According to league sources, the Chicago Bulls are drafting Tyshawn Taylor from Kansas tonight with the 29th pick -- backup for Derrick Rose
good pick if they ddo take Taylor elite athlete and makes amazing plays just makes stupid plays at times. I could live with him if I would coach cause he reallly defends and on offense he has a great skill set.
I dont know if Thibs will like him could see him in Thibbs dog house.
Unsure of validity of this tweet, since Bulls FO rarely ever shows their hand.
Will Barton
Position: SG
Height: 6-foot-6
Weight: 174 pounds
Age: 21
School: Memphis
Analysis: The Bulls are looking at a number of 2-guard options here, but Barton has separated himself from the pack in the past few weeks. He's a terrific scorer and can shoot with range. He just needs to add strength.
Trade Scenarios: The Bulls have been actively trying to move up, but have had no luck so far.
Bulls' Big Board: (team priorities, according to sources)
1. Will Barton
2. Doron Lamb
3. Tyshawn Taylor
4. John Jenkins

If true.
Typical Pax era pick though. 3-4 year player at a big time school.
Herp derp...Taylor isnt the typical 4 year guy he was a top rated HS recruit who just took longer to develop
