Patrick Kane and Marian Hossa will be the only Hawks participating in the 2012 All Star game; Jonathon Toews had to drop out due to injury. Kane and Hossa will play on the Chara team; Hossa was picked in the 4[sup]th[/sup] round, while Kane was selected in the 12[sup]th[/sup] round. Both players participated in the skills contest with Kane pulling out the Super Kane cape in the breakaway contest and Hossa participated in the speed skate contest.
